House Supervisor RN - PRN New

As a House Supervisor , Registered Nurse (RN), PRN, 1 shift a week, hours vary at Lower Keys Medical Center (LKMC) you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients.

A House Supervisor provides oversight for multiple hospital departments in the absence of unit management. Addresses patient care, staffing, and any other issues that may arise. Supervises nurses and staff and takes administrative responsibilities. Leads and directs the work of others.

Requirements:

• An Associate's Degree and RN (FL) certified are required.
• 3-5 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

About the job:

• Evaluating assigned patients and plans, implementing and documenting nursing care.
• Assisting the physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients, and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• You will rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Also a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically you will report to a manager or head of a unit/department.
